Experienced education law attorney
announces the opening of
Potter Law

Potter Law practices all major areas of education law, including Title VI, Title IX, and Section 504. Potter Law serves both students and institutions.

We prioritize client-driven decisions, so that each client’s needs, mental health, and humanity are honored in their pursuit of educational equity.

By doing so, we are able to effect change at both the individual and institutional level while preserving the dignity of all involved.

I am Nancy Potter, founder of Potter Law. I have spent more than a decade providing practical education law solutions to students and institutions across the country, empowering them with the tools they need.

I provide legal representation to students and families from early intervention through post-secondary education, and serve as an appointed Title IX advisor, independent hearing officer, and external investigator for K-12 and post-secondary schools.

I pride myself in evolving with the law, and imparting up-to-date information to stakeholders. I provide training, advocacy materials, and technical assistance on education law to K-12 and post-secondary schools, parent and student groups, lawyers, activists, government officials, and service providers.
